Hospitality Summary Information Guide

The Re-turn team have created a Hospitality Summary Information Guide to assist those involved in HORECA, Food to Go and the Online Food Industry to prepare for go live of the Deposit Return Scheme on 1 February 2024.

If your business sells or otherwise supplies in scope products to a final consumer, you are defined as a ‘Retailer’ and are legally obliged to register with Re-turn.

The Hospitality Summary Information Guide provides details on:
    • Hospitality industry legal obligations
    • Take Back Exemptions criteria – HORECA, ‘Food to Go’ and online
    • Deposit Charging Exemptions
    • Transition Period framework

The Hospitality Summary Information Guide may be accessed here.
